The Pianola Music from Eagle Island

Pianola presented by H.H. Benedict on the Roosevelt 1905-1909
The songs below come from the pianola rolls from Eagle Island. These rolls once accompanied Admiral Peary on the US Roosevelt, the ship he took on his journey to to the Arctic. The pianola was modified due to space limitations on board, resulting in the loss of its top octave.
In 2009, it was returned to Eagle Island by Bert Peary III, Admiral Peary's grandson, from Vancouver, Canada. Click below to hear how the pianola returned to
